The ISO-TEL 250TI is the answer to new technical problems arising from the development of new technologies in Telecoms, in fact new xDSL technologies for copper access network require high insulation resistance measurements with low test voltage.
The ISO-TEL 250TI with its insulation measurement up to 20 GΩ it is the best instrument in inspecting new cabling and PSTN networks.
Thanks to its test voltage insulation limited to 250V adds safety during the work of operators and protect new sensitive electronic in telecommunications. (Modem and Telecom electronic devices have an imput protection Max 250V).
What is Telephone Capacitance (or User Capacity)?
User Capacity (a special dedicated function for this type of instrument) helps technicians in detecting cable failures and in reducing service time. An indispensable indication for technicians operating in troubleshooting.
For example, in case of overload it allows you to appreciate the capacities connected to the line. An approximate value is obtained for determining the connected devices on the user side and it is checked that the system is correctly plugged into a socket, an analogue phone, etc.
You can measure User Capacity for determining the load applied to a telephone line (from the station to the customer's box) without consulting the test device to distribution frame.
